  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American musician, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, and also a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He is signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was included on the album. His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Scott's track "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott was the first rapper to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
